September 2024
Marin VEG
It's a very early and very short newsletter this time (because
I'll be away at the end of August and there is not a lot to report).
Still, two exciting events are happening in September, and you will
want to know about both of them. Have fun!
Sunday, September 1
Bizerkeley Food Fest
Starting at noon at Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, the
4th annual Bezerkeley Food Fest will feature exclusively vegan food
for every food lover. Watch a video from last year's event and buy
tickets at
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/4th-annual-bizerkeley-food-fest-tickets-828035836477
Scroll down below the video to the red bar that says Get tickets.
Saturday, September 28
Sonoma County VegFest
and International Vegan Film Fest
Join the fun at the Santa Rosa Veterans Building from 10 to 3 on
Saturday, September 28 for the popular Sonoma County Veg Fest. This
year, for the first time, it will also include an International
Vegan Film Fest, showing short, award winning films from around the
world. Learn more and buy tickets at

Olympic Athletes Did Not Watch The Game Changers
Given their complaints about the lack of animal products served
to Olympic athletes in Paris, it is obvious that many competitors
did not watch (or did not agree with the message of) the film The
Game Changers.
