Oscar Mayer Offers Vegan Hot Dog

The beef industry is infiltrating classrooms. Just as many of us grew up believing in the essential four food groups, half of which were animal based, today's children are being taught that beef is vital. Boo, Hiss for Panera
I used to count on Panera for a fast vegan meal of soup and bread.  Now that's harder to come by because the company is cutting back on healthy choices and adding more meat and dairy foods.   Last month I stepped in, and the person who took my order did not know what vegan meant.  Two steps forward (Malibu's Burgers!) and one back on the hunt for vegan options in local restaurants. https://vegnews.com/2024/3/paneras-menu-overhaul-fail-health-planet

Octopus, Friend Not Food
The thought of eating an octopus turns my stomach.  Especially after watching the beautiful film My Octopus Teacher during the first year of the pandemic.  Even a photograph of vegan octopus parts is hard to look at.
