Study of Identical Twins Shows Heart Health Benefits of a Vegan Diet

Kraft is launching  its popular Mac & Cheese product in a plant based version this year.  Look for the original flavor and the white cheddar variety in supermarkets this month.

New Film from Makers of Cowspiracy, Seaspiracy, and What the Health
Looking for Funding after Splitting from Netflix
Kip Andersen and Kameron Waters focus attention on world religions in their new film Christspiracy.  Originally planned to be shown on Netflix, the filmmakers could not see eye to eye with the distributor, and so are raising funds to find multiple ways to get the movie to the public.

Prop 12 Goes Into Effect January 1
On the first day of the new year, animal products sold in California will not be allowed to have had the animals raised in spaces so small that the animals could not turn around.  This is the implementation of Proposition 12 which passed easily in 2018. The law survived legal challenges from the pork industry and the American Farm Bureau Federation. Learn more in this excellent article:
