Monthly Meetings
Information about monthly activities and meetings can be found in our newsletter.

We meet most months on the third Sunday of the month, usually from 6:00 to 9:00 in conference room of La Plaza office center across the freeway from the Terra Linda neighborhood of San Rafael Directions are below. Always call before coming, because our location and meeting time occasionally change. See our newsletter for the current month’s
meeting.
Directions to our most frequent meeting room:  La Plaza Office Complex: 4340 Redwood Highway, San Rafael  (at the very back of the complex in the Conference Room).  Take Freitas Parkway/Terra Linda exit from Hwy. 101. Go to the EAST side of the freeway, and go
NORTH on the frontage road (also called Redwood Highway). Pass the traffic light at Professional Parkway and continue one half mile on Redwood Highway to the second office complex on the right, La Plaza, #4340. Drive to the very back of the complex and look for
the well lit conference room.  Thanks to Dr. Rick Dina, nutritional counselor and Doctor of Chiropractic extraordinaire, for sharing his office conference room with us for our meetings.  (To reach Dr. Dina for an appointment, call 415-472-7070.)

Pot-Luck Dinners
Most of our meetings begin with a shared dinner party (formerly known as a pot-luck dinner).  We'd love for you to join us! See our newsletter for current month’s pot-luck.
Here are the guidelines for the dish you bring:
1.             Please bring a vegan dish large enough for eight others to share. Vegan means the dish should not include any animal products (no eggs, no dairy, and nothing
made with them, such as mayonnaise or cheese).
2.             Please write down the ingredients of your dish so that people with allergies can avoid what they should. While we always have paper plates and plastic forks for
those who forget, we encourage you to bring your own plate, utensils and a serving utensil for the dish you are sharing.  Filtered water is provided, so bring your own
drinking cup as well.
3.             If you don't know how to cook, or don't know what to bring, we always appreciate a simple green salad or a simple fruit salad. Lemon or lime slices can serve as
dressing. Keep it simple! You may also call Patti for suggestions (415-459-1666)
4.             There is a section of the table set aside for those who are following a whole foods, low-fat diet (according to Dr. Dean Ornish's, Dr. Alan Goldhamer's or Dr. John
McDougall's guidelines).
5.             Attending a vegan dinner party with us is the best way to see the variety of beautiful, delicious, creative dishes that vegans like to eat. We're a friendly group of
compassionate, healthy people, and we hope to see you at one of our dinner parties and meetings soon!
